Satin paper is more durable than standard paper because of its smooth, coated surface, but it can still rip if handled roughly. While it is less prone to tearing than very thin or uncoated paper, it is not as strong as cardstock or specialty tear-resistant papers. Proper handling is recommended to avoid accidental ripping.
